I wanted to get a bunch together to do a night dune ride here in Oregon. I plan on gettin a bunch of the glow sticks that you snap to make them glow and hang them from flag rods jammed in the sand. Kind of leave a trail before it gets dark. Leave one every quarter mile or so back to camp.

 

100 watt Helmet lights with a heads up fiber optic compass works for me !

 

thanks but your ideas suck, if i wanted gps i would get it but makes my bike look ugly + i know my way around the dunes but cant find camp when everyone has the same light set up on thier camper. when its dusty you cant see 50 feet on the hollidays and thier is a million dam campers.like wite on rice!

 

Sorry to make you mad Miss, I think some PINK lights marking your camp would help you find your way in the dark.

We put a lighted disco ball on top of freinds trailer. Worked well until a wind storm knocked it to the ground...
Helium filled blowup doll with a light on it would be kinda fun as well.

Maybe not what you thought, but they do have the classic ***** as well, would be real easy to set up something with a couple lights shining on it. There are smaller cheaper ones out there, do a search for "disco ball light". Runs off 12volt, makes it real easy to hook up w/out f'ing with an inverter.

 

do you have to hang it or do you use a tripod ?
