Wasn't sure where to post this question.... Does anyone have any ideas for fast cooking recipes while being overnight at the Glamis. Thanks for any ideas.

If you will have a bbq you can put veggies with spices wrapped in foil then cook. you cut a slit in top and it is in its own bowl. We like mushrooms and onions or green beans with chopped uncocked bacon. We also order pizza before we go and wrap each piece seprately. you can warm on your dash or camp stove. (warm on dash with defroster on a few min.)

Warmed up cold pizza on the defroster! Good Lord! That is one redneck meal. But I guess I can appreciate the improvisation.....

Get one of those little propane barbeques. You can do a million things with 'em.

When we go out to Glamis we have anything from hot dogs to steak. I have one of those little propane bbqs and it works great, the only problem I had was from a cheap set of tongs that when I went to flip the steak it slipped, ran across the table and jumped trough a one inch wide gap between the trailer and table and hit the sand ( there is no wiping that off).

Elk and venison steaks marinading for a day or two in secret sauce cooked on the little barbeque, washed down with fresh ale from the Shady Brewery.

That's how to do it.
