Hey, SandMan12 sorry I missed you at the drags I was there just for Saturday. Still getting use to the new sparks pipe… man did the quad come alive here is what I have YFZ450 red & white. Sparks pipe, filter & intake, Denton steering stabilizer, Cam mod & jetting. I figure I am @ 3 times your age and probably a little heavier than you are but hopefully I can give you a race on your home turf. I don’t plan on doing anymore mods, the thing rips now just enjoying what I have. was that the (sparks z400) your talking about? if it is your right.. it does run good, very good. let me know what you have on your quad sounds like you got dialed in very good.

 

Sparks pipe, Custom intake, cam mod, Perfect jetting, and the paddles is what makes it fast. 20x10x10 8 paddle extremes. I am getting ultra buffs soon just for drag racing. But where i have the advantage over everyone else is, i ride there every weekend so i have my bike dialed in perfectly. but hey who knows? Oh and that was the sparks Z400. the guy was pretty big and he was wearing a sparks racing tshirt. but i have a friend who is working on some "top secret" mods that will make my bike 7 bikes faster and it is not even a bore kit, alky or nos. i am running a 185 main what are you running? later

why would it be top secret? we are running the same mods so if i was him i would change his main to what i have mine set at. i have done lots of testing on this. But my intake is probably alot different than his so... this jetting might be to rich.

Why should he change his main to your setting if he is running as fast or faster than ANYONE with the same mods? I guarantee you if you ever see duneslider22 & I out at the drags & look at are Sparks pipes than look at your pipe. You will know we are different. Just wait & see....[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]. When you share all your top secrets, We'll share our's to. I can always go grab a set of tripple buffs to. We probably won't make another beach trip before Glamis on MLK weekend. You should get your 'top secret mods" done before than & show up to race. If your going to pick up another 7 bike lengths, You would be very competitive in the 500cc & under modified class. but remember this isn't Pismo. It will be like going from JV to varsiry. Oh ok. You see my friend wont even tell me what he is doing. lol He says something about making his own piston so it is not even for sure yet. Oh and when you see my sparks its probably not "normall eather" lol. But later on i plan on getting as 460 or so stroker. But for now i will just stay with normal mods like porting, cams piston ect. later.

 

hey sand man12 are you the guy with the YZF 450 that just boght a sparks pipe? i am the guy with the ESR 350 blue and white TRX. i think it was you i was racing after the sand drags were over on sat.day?if this is you, are you going to be there for new years?

 

SandMan12 when are you going to have your ultra buff? Sounds like your already fast enough without them. Just wondering incase I need to borrow some. I have one of my friends going for the weekend

I dont know if i can go sat. i am only 15 so it is if i can get a ride. i will be out there probably thurs, fri. oh and i am not getting the ultra buffs anymore. they pop way to easy. Today i raced a sparks 465ex with alky i think and we were tied. i raced him when i had my old pipe on there and he beat me 1-2 bikes and i was clocked at only 48 mph but now i am running 53 ish. Later Also there are somevery fast YFZ's if they have extended swing arms i try to stay away but i always get them because of the big whoops.
