I thought you ran very fast, there were just some tough competition out there. You have a fast YFZ 450. I myself would like you… to tell the story before I say anything.

Dw450 keep up the good work I think you surprised alot of people. You are defiantly going to be a rider to recon with, when you take that bike from your dad and get a little more riding time and experience with it.

I feel we all are very lucky 250R4LIFE was not there. However, I do want 250R4LIFE to know that he was right about the tires...and you should have seen all of the YFZ450 out there. It was a lot of fun.

Don't get me wrong. . . not saying you can't come out to play! I'll line up next to you but, don't expect to line up next to anyone on race day [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

I think there will be a good turnout from California and Arizona people this year but, I don't expect to see many from Texas, Utah, etc. making the trip this time. Should still be a fun time (any day at the dunes beats a day at the office.) But, I don't think it will be as much about the people this year. I really enjoyed meeting all the forum members last year and since the organizers of the event and the ATV Connection Forum Admin. have had disagreements the event won't get a thread on this forum. Unfortunately, that serves to build the event more than the gathering of forum members. (I hope I am wrong!)

 

im just figurin on sat i could have someone race some of the faster 4 strokes or other shees on my bike.im just goin for support for my friend runin in the under 500 modified class.but i might as well have some fun while im out there.

Ok, sorry for no reply. I went riding a Vandenburg (sp?) air force base and i had to spend the night at my friends. Yes there is a change to the 3rd fastest YFZ. Duneslidder was pulling me very hard out of the hole beacuse he had the 21 in tires and 8 in rims. The take off was very tore up (i got stuck in it twice) he would pull me by about 2 bikes or so. He is a very nice guy too. There were 2 other YFZ's that were beatin me too. Man, so now i am changing my statement to "I have a well running YFZ". I would like to race Dunslider again when i have my drag paddles on. Becaue that was what was killing me. I am also going to start running very "hott" fuel. I am still saving up for some other little mods to. All in all it was a good day and i am glad i got to meet him. Talk to you guys later

maybe we can meet up sometime & I will race you with my V shaped paddles. You can run whatever tire you want. I won't make any excuse if I loose. Because my bike is what it is.
