Fishlab,

You may want to consider some 22" 9 paddle Extreme Haulers. My dad has those on his 500 Scrambler and it hooks up like crazy. I would have thought it was too much tire for the bike, but it does really good. His bike has an HPD clutch kit, and a K&N filter/jet kit, but he ran those when the quad was stock too. The guys at Mt. Hood Polaris (in Boring) recommended those tires for the Scrambler, and they have been a very good choice.

Anyway....I may try and get a few guys from my club to the dunes next weekend (after New Year's). It's either that, or the hangover scrambles at Washougal. Only problem with those is that the quads run last so it will be all rutted up and swampy after all the dirt bikes.

Thanks for the tip. I do think you are right as far as hookup. They would be best. But I like the extra grip you get with the V paddles for them tight trails with trees and bushes. They just keep the a$$ end on the trails and side hills much better. I bought the Kenda Dune Runers (flat paddle) just a a gap filler until the Sand Stars come out in my size. I know the Egdes are very good as well, but I can almost get 2 SandStars for the price of one Edge.

Hey kc,
If they are anything like the 20"s then I expect great things from them. We might find out sooner than you think now. Made A few calls today. We'll have to see what I can make happen on Monday. I don't want to get my hopes up too hi.

Looks Like paddle tire king has all sizes in stock including 22"

He told me if I order today they will be at my door Wednesday. I ordered ITP t-9's with the 22" and it was $209 for everything + Ship.
