Only one big riding area in Louisiana. LA DUNES. In Alexandria. Its not all that big but gives you the opportunity.

Idaho, has St. Anthony's
Oklahoma has Little Sahara.

There are a bunch

Utah has many dune areas
1st Little Saraha Rec Area, or Jericho. Ita HUGE has HUGE hills, rivals any dune field anywhere.
2nd Coral Pink. Smaller, but very scenic, dunes wind through red rock canyons, and just plain dune fields.
3rd Sand Hollow. Its a newer area down by the UT AZ border off I-15. Never been there, they have a resevoir out there too, I hear it has small hills.
4th there are dunes out by Green River, I have never been there either, I hear its small.
5th Knolls. I 180 by the UT NV border. Huge riding area, but not many dunes. there are alot of HUGE dunes right across the fence, but you have to trespass on a Air Force bombing range to ride them.

Up here in the Pacific NW there is Florence, Coos Bay and Winchester in Oregon.
Beverly, Moses Lake and Juniper dunes in Washington.
And then there's St. Anthony's in Idaho.

Hey mike330r, they don't list the Oregon dunes at all on that list . Florence, Winchester bay (where dune fest is), Coos Bay, Sand lake, and a few more.

Here's a link

At the bottom there is a link to each of the three major dunes in Oregon.. thnx
