Glamis Clean-Up!!

 

Very cool for you to be doing that. I can't believe how some people litter dunes. Plus some things honestly are dropped etc.

We all need to take care of our riding areas!

 

I'll be there. We are renting a motorhome and bringing a few families. It will be my first cleanup, but I love Glamis so it's worth it.

Registration officially begins at 9:00 am, inside the enclosure at the Gecko Ranger Station. We will also have a registration table at the beginning of Wash Road.
When you register you will receive 1 (or several if you wish) trash bags, a ticket for your free t-shirt and one raffle ticket. You can decide from there where you'd like to focus your efforts.
When you turn in a bag of trash, you get another raffle ticket. If you turn in a bag with just cans in it, you get 5 tickets
There are four "hot spots", Comp, Olds, the drags and Wash Road, where you will find trucks with banners that read "Glamis Cleanup". Those trucks have extra bags and tickets, or you can come back to Gecko Road for more bags.

Some changes this year, due to popular demand. Seems lots of people thought the raffle was starting too late and taking too long!
Register, get your bag, your t-shirt ticket and a raffle ticket, from 9:00-11:30.

Grab a hot dog and pick up your t-shirt any time after noon.

Contest winners announced at 1:00.

Raffle begins at 1:30.

Oh, and it's been posted before but I'll post it again...

This year you get to choose where to put your ticket for some of the prizes. There's a general bucket too for misc. prizes, but there are 10 prizes that you get to shoot for specifically. That way, a quad owner doesn't get stuck with a pair of buggy seats

We got a thing like that hear in Oregon but it doesn't sound as fun as this glamis clean up want to go down there and ride sometime. When is the slow season so my kids can ride safley.
