Default Help with Paddles

Please help......

I am getting sand tires for my 04 Predator 500. I have decided on Haulers (or extreme haulers) but what size do I want. I am new to this and need to order these ASAP. I know I want an 8 paddle, but do I go with an 8" wheel or 10" wheel? What is the difference in these? Do I want more or less sidewall?

Thanks for any replies.

I run 10" wheels. Same as cars, the smaller the sidewall, the better the handling, but rougher ride. Not as noticable, but the theory holds. Also, with a 8" wheel, the tire expands a little more when your going full out. Over all, it doesnt matter. If you are a casual rider, you wont notice much of a difference.

I run 22x11x8 haulers on .160 douglas. GO with the tall size if you want to climb. I like mine for bowl riding, not quite as good for slide outs, but overall I think you'll be happier withthe taller tires.

Why don't you just get the predator that is already set up for dunes. I don;t know if it costs any more than a regular one and it already comes with flag, paddles.
