Ogilby is north of buttercup. (About 15 miles west of Yuma, AZ) And they are sand dunes.

Ogilby is the east side of the Gordens Well dunes. You are just camped on the other side of the regular camp area.

With your wind chill you are looking at a 100 degree warm up.

If they are anything like the dunes on the other side of freeway, they are pretty small with tons of razors...

you can ride from Olgilby to anywhere in the dunes ... Glamis store, Patton valley, comp and olds.. ect.. just need to monitor your fuel consumption and GPS readings.

DAMN! And to think I thought I was going to frezze to death this morning when I stepped out side and it was 43*. It looks like it is warming up in Brawley, CA, just checked the weather there and Thursday they said it's going to be 75*. That should make from some good riding weather. Keep us updated so we know for sure if you are going or not. I can't wait.....this is going to be a good trip!
