22" tire and the ITP C series rims (i think they are the .190 rims, they say they are strong, they would have to be for the V!)

Was that on .160 or .190 rims? 20 or 22inch tires?

The sand stars with ITP rims are 20.3 lbs. each. The stock V-Force tire-rim is 26 lbs ea.

The Skat Trac haulers that I purchased recently in a 20X11X9 size with 8 paddles weighed 9 lbs on an electronic fish scale before mounting them on the wheel (rim).
Also the stock rear tires mounted on stock wheels from my YFZ weighted 17.5 lbs on a US Postal service electronic scale.
Just some weights for those making comparisons..

I'm sure they shaved off as much weight as they could for that bike. Put them on a V and i think they will be ripped apart! The stock V-Force (rear) rim is very sturdy.

SKAT TRAK Haulers. Youll never go back to anything else. Regardless of what people say, they turn great. They are great for duning and hill shooting.
I run 20X10X10, but 21 or 22's with whatever rim you want work well.

Man everyone seems to be down on the Geckos..My friend has a Banshee and he just got the Geckos, they seemed to hook up very well and the turning seemed good but not as good as the V's, before we got them we looked at the sand stars, but they looked kinda weak to me...you could bend the paddle over with just your hand...and the Gecko was braced on the back of the paddle which made it much stronger, i don't know if thats inportant or not but it seemed to be the better made paddle tire. If thats the reason why there heavier then so be it...i'll take the longer life with a few more pounds. Then again i could be totally wrong....just the impression i got.
