Who Lives where it is warm?

You need to define cold. I live near San Fransisco, and it is probably around 60 right now and to me, it is cold. To some one else, not very cold at all. Summers arent so bad, we only get above 100 a couple of times during the summer. Besides you can just drive about 2 hours and get into the Sierra's, where the temp is at least 10 degrees cooler. But you pay for it, big time.

I think its time for you to buy some snowmobiles to ride. You live near some great snowmobiling. In fact i drove all the way from california to sandy utah to pick up a 4 place enclosed snowmobile trailer. Northern california/sacramento area is nice. Live in the foothills east of the sacramento area, hardly ever gets above 100, tons of growth just down the hill around the sacramento area and dunes are too far away. Funny thing is we are actually looking to buy some land or a small house/cabin in the southeastern idaho area to use to go to st. anthony in the summer and snowmobile in the winter. Yeah I live in Sandy Utah. I keep thinking it would be nice to move somewhere warm but I only live 1 1/2 hrs from little sahara and its only a few hours up to St Anthony. So I would have a hard time getting to far away from those two duning areas

Podunk town in the middle of nowhere! East is flagstaff, west is desert, south is desert, north is hoover dam, and Vegas.

Guys, he want's to be able to ride year round. . . Can't do that at Glamis. Its about 100 out there for about 4 mos. a year! Riding season is maybe a little longer, it is just either warm or way to freekin' hot instead of comfortable or way to flippin' freezen.
The only places you can ride all year around are Pismo and I would think Oregon Coast. Not a lot of HVAC work where the weather is mild though
You wouldn't be happy with the coastal dunes anyways. There aren't any hills!
Do some weather searches. There are jobs that will let you pay the bills but, it may not be the quality of life you are used to.
