Default ITP Sandstars?

Im looking at getting new paddles for my quad. Right now I have scat trak haulers 20/10/8 10 paddle. They are just old and missing a few paddles and last ride i blew out a sidewall on one. I need to get some paddles before easter but money is kinda tight right now. I wanted Skat trak extreme haulers but they will be about 220-250 dollars for a set. I can get the itp sandstars for about 120 a set. I have a Suz lt250 with a Honda Cr500 motor in it so I need a tire that will hold up. I dont want to be tearing off paddles. Also I do alot of all around riding but also a lot of drag racing up Sand Mountain Utah. Am I going to lose alot of speed up the hill with the Sandstars. Im trying to save some money but I dont want to try and save 100 bucks and be unhappy with the tires.

Hey man i running the itp sand stars and i love them for a v-paddle. The paddles are tall like the skat trak 2's. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a new good but cheap paddle. You might loose a little bit of spped up a sand hill but not alot. U probably will not even notice it. I have had mine sense christmas and rode on them about 20 times and they are still like new. The paddles are very well built and tall so u can get good traction. And also u will see a really really really big difference in turning. Lance

Thanks for the info Rocky Mountain said they have had really good response from people who have bought them so they sound like a good tire. I will probably end up getting them unless I come upon some extra cash in the next 4 weeks before I leave for Easter

I just went to Glamis on my new pair of sand stars from having V paddle trakkers and I luv them! They Hookup so good! I was poping the front end off the ground in the soft sand without even leaning back. They don't let you power slide as good because the paddle is so aggressive but I luv em anyways.

these other bike's are fine with those tires but I would get the haulers if your dragging some fast bikes. sand stars will work good for dunning and turning but not so much for dragging. do they make a 10 or 12 paddle tire? you could always run those and when you get the money put them on the wife bike or the spare.

Im going to try and get the money for the extreme haulers I think I want them to last and dont want to lose a drag due to my paddles. Will changing tire size change the gearing much? I want to lower my gearing a little. I measured my paddles today and they are only 18" haulers. I thought they were 20" but I was wrong. So I will probably go with 20 or 22 inch 10 paddle extreme haulers. The Sandstars only have 8 paddles.

Yeah im running a 13 tooth front 40 tooth rear and then an 18" paddle tire. I think my gearing is way tall. I think Im going to go to a 13/44 and a 20 or 22 inch tire and see how that does. My bike does run a little hot also. I just have the stock lt250 radiator. I put in an inline cooler also dont know how much they help. I need to get mine running cooler somehow. I cant keep on the gas to long without blowing out antifreeze from the overflow tube. I lose about a cup or so of antifreeze every couple hours of riding.
