the website has the rule info. i beleive it's same rules as GNCC races, that's what i understood from the site, but i'm not sure so don't quote me on that. i do think i have a pretty good idea why they don't allow paddles tho. with regular races the higher level classes have more expensive equipment giving them a distinct advantage, that's why they are in a seperate class. However, in the sand having paddle tires is a huge advantage. the problem is that (as most of us know) sand tires can be ridiculously expensive. so to even out the field, they can jus eliminate the tires all together. again, this is just my opinion, but it seems to make a lot of sense, to me at least.

 

also, the 96 dB sound limit is not strictly enforced, there's an optional check, but it's mandatory if they think ur too loud.

 

Nobody said it was going to be easy. If they do it in France, I'm sure they can do it here

 

The race is still almost 6 months away, So I'm sure the website will have more information as the race gets closer.

Yep there is. I'm trying to find out how many people on a team. I'm also trying to figure out what post entry only for the team race means. I imagine I'll be putting a team together for the race. 2 hours straight of racing is a long time for this wimp..[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

 

ya, a team race would be nice, i'd like to see how i compare to everybody else tho on endurance, since i don't get to ride every week.
