97 you might be safe my girl smoked her kasea last night at the races. motor mount broke and chain came off, she over revd it and crank came apart, lost flywheel, piston. checking with distribor to see whats in stock. also putting a new clutch in the raptor and new axle, would like to run your banshee.raptor is in the 70's. i'm doing good this time only have 6 bikes to finish by wednesday. a few all night in the forcast.
if everything goes right i'll be at the drags aroung 12 on saturday.

Mad I think his is a 416 also W/carb, cam, piston, exhaust, rev box, head work.

 

Sorry I won't be there. It's tempting, I would love to go over & see how your new Madracing motor runs & line up against you so I can see the difference. But it's to close to my Oregon trip. With work & all, I just don't have much more time to get ready for the trip which is only going to be a couple days after memorial weekend. My bike is all serviced & cleaned waiting to hit the Oregon dunes. Good luck though. I hope to make it over one day over the 4th of July weekend. You'll probably have it more dialed in by than anyways. Memorial Day might end up being a dial your bike in weekend anyways. Hopefully you get it figured out real quick though & can make some good runs this weekend.

 

Thunder, i would like to see how Mark from Madracing has your bike running, so if i can i might come over to watch. It's to close to our Oregon trip and my bike is all cleaned up and ready and i am not willing to take any unforeseen chances that something might happen. I have plans to make it for the day on the 4th of July weekend so we will have to hook up and run them. I wished we could have had the chance to meet up before you had the mods done to compare them. It was sounding like it would of been a good race. I just am not ready to mod mine yet. I feel it's just fine the way it is. Later...

Yea a good part of the weekend if not all of it will be geting it dialed in. Hope we can get it real close so I can come back before the 4th and get it perfect.

I think we would of been a good race before the 470. I have a couple of bikes around here that I know exactly how much I was beating them before so Ill have a very good idea of how much I gained. Let me know for sure if what day your going on memorial weekend if you do head over there.

If not ill see both of you on the 4th weekend.

yea it will be here tomorrow, i hate that word tomorrow..LOL

He has a few suprises for me, he said it is real difrent and he opened the head pipe and stepped it up near the core for some real top end power,hope it works well with the set up..But i can guarntee it has the biggest opening of any pipes from the head pipes to the core of the exhaust...
