Well guys, looks like I'll be going for sure on the 4th. never been to pismo before. How far in advance to I need to reserve a spot if its not allready to late. And dabeachman, How should I gear my bike for dragging out there. Its geard to top out at 55 60 mph rite know (for olds). Should I bump it up to 70-80 mph for flat?. I have no idea where to start at. Also is the jetting a big change form glamis (400 feet above sea level)? How much is it for a weekend pass? Thanks dudes.

 

reservations usually sell out a month to two months in advance. You'll probably have to rent a room for the weekend.

Havent been to glamis so i wouldnt know where to set you on jetting. Sand is heavier in pismo so you might just leave the gear where its at and change it as you feel fit

 

How much is a hotel. and witch one should I stay in? Are the dunes tall and spread out or small and crammed? thanks.

 

pismo is small. Call around. PM with hotels that have rooms and ill let you know which ones are good/bad

i would gear it so it will do 70mph at least.the flats are pretty long.we gotta run em when you get out there on sat the 3rd.meet up with us at pole 4 at 9 am and go on the dune ride.

 

banshee smoker, get a day pass park your trailer on the beech at night park your truck at the amtrack you will need a ride put me down for one night i'll give you a ride and i'm sure others will help

 

my wifes raptor runs 68 with a slipping clutch so you might want to gear it for 75
