Must be nice to be able to ride the sand year round. I wouldnt dream of going to Glamis for memorial weekend. TOO DAMN HOT. How many dunes are cool to ride year round? Im willing to bet you aint gonna find any near Az. Sucks to only be able to ride sand for 6mos. My dune season usually starts with a trip to Glamis over halloween then ends on some off weekend in march... What kinda schedules do you all keep to?

 

well we can ride year round here in oregon but in the winter it is very hit and miss when the storms come it isn't much fun to ride and that seems to be when your riding is good in az. so we watch and envy you guys.

 

pismo is good year round, although weekends can get almost over crowded. the only problem is a cold wind that likes to come up.

 

We can dune for about 7 months. July and August are a no go. A bad winter can stop duning for three straight months. Head north to LS Utah, SA, Idaho, or the Oregon coast. You can dune year round if your willing to travel and these places are very very good to dune..

 

lol....the grass is always greener eh? If I had a helicopter or something I could get to those dunes in that would be sweet...Im lookin to hit that powerball jackpot. Then I do believe I would be at the dunes all week. I'd really like to go back to silverlake but damn thats a far drive from az.

summer night trips to Glamis are on my schedule this year, but like most Glamis and Gordons Well riders, my bike probably wont be back together until October. I need more money!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Im thinking about heading to Idaho this summer for a week and plan on taking the bikes with me. Looking to do some duning out that way. Should be interesting, its going to be my first time out in Idaho and Utah with the bikes [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

aah and I can ride pismo every weekend if I wanted.

 

Dancingqueen. Want to hall a extra bike so I can fly out there. j\k. I'm jelious. thats no fair. I want to go to oregon this summer. and I might go to pismo next weekend. Be sure to take pictures for us forum junkies.

 

Yeah, the plan is to head to Oregon sometime this summer as well. I think its going to be a fun summer, now if only I could get DaBeechMan to think that as well [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]
