Default Need paddles which ones

I need to buy a set of paddles for my V-Force. I am not finding a lot of choices in 22 inchers. I was looking at ITP sand stars, but most places are out of stock. I can get the 21 inch Geckos for cheap but don't know much about them. I think I want the V type paddles for turning and sliding. I don't have any real experience with Paddles this is the first sport quad I have ever owned. I can go to a 9 inch rim if I need to since I will be buying some inexpensive rims to mount them on. Any suggestions experiences I spoke to several people who told me not to go down to the 20 inchers because I will lose too much top end and the V will spin them too easy. Thanks Guys.

I have a V force and I originally bought sand stars. They worked great but spin pretty bad coming out of the hole. They will climb anything and top end is awsome with them. They were 22" ones on 10" rims. I have heard nothing but bad things about Geckos on V's because they are so heavy. Also hopefully you've bought honda 400 ex hubs or you might have a hard time finding cheap rims. The only rims made for the V that I know of are .190's because the V will bend everything else too easy. If you buy honda 400ex hubs your choices become unlimited. After dragging with my stars I bought Haulers to see if they would work better. I bought 10 paddle taller haulers and they were slightly too much to turn top end. I shaved every other paddle approx. 1/4 inch and they work great now! I would definately suggest the sand stars for all around use. If you have the money the best paddles out for dragging are 24" skat trak 9 paddle extreme haulers but you must mount them on 11" wide douglas rims made especially for the V. I think the total package for that setup is like $350 or so. I'm very satisfied with my taller haulers although I probably would be doing better with 10 paddle extremes cause it's a little less to turn. I don't know if anyone has tried 20" tires that I've heard of but everyone says to stay away from them.

Beleive it or not my dad is running 22 inch haulers and they are great. But I have heard alot of people saying that you need to run 24 or 25 inch haulers! Here is the place you can buy them Jims Sand Toys

22 inch is as tall as you need. 24 and 25 are for major Drag racing.
