I have the haulers & sandstars. I love them both

 

paddle masters are awesome in sand i would also look at sand sharks

 

I agree with Agent Orange. For a little extra bite, go with the Extreme Haulers. 8 paddles should be sufficient for haulers, I would go with 9 paddles for the edge's.

 

8 paddle hauler it seems to be a very good way to go on the honda400.

I heard the 7 paddle hauler where the best for the 400ex. Why go with 8?

 

I think it depends on what kind of sand you have. Oregon Coast sand isn't very heavy or hard to throw. That could be different in other places. I know that if I had to run on wet sand I would run one less paddle than I do now.

8 paddles work great on a 400 EX out here!

I'm guessing that's why you were told something different.

8 paddles work great on 99% of applications. I have have ridden with 8 paddles on most quads, and never had a problem. Most manufacturers only offer a 8 paddle tire. I think Skat trak is the only ones that offer more or less paddles.
Anyways, go with The Skat trak Haulers 8 paddles. Youll be thankfull when your on a steep soft hill, and they provide the extra bite. turning is just as easy as a V paddle in my opinion, but the straight line hook up is much better with a straight paddle
