i was out there for 4 hours or so friday.about the same on saturday and a couple hours on sunday.

 

Oh I saw Red out there and even talked to him for a few. Then he started with the excuses why he didnt make the morning dune ride. #1 his bike is too danm fast to run ith likes of us. #2 He was afriad he was going to scare everyone off. #3 All the chicks he picked up on the night before wouldnt let him out of bed. And so on.

JUST KIDDING 97RED !!! Good to see you out there. Too bad your bike wasnt running right. But we had some good races on the thumpers. I almost got your buddy on the blue 450. Damn 4 strokes just keep getting faster and faster. My buddy on the red ex was havin a good time with your buddy on the yellow ex.

I think that morning dune ride wore me out. I didnt feel much like racing after that. I kept having trouble getting sucked into the roost. I guess if you are out front you dont have that problem.

that blue one runs good for bein a stock motor with cam mod.has esr exhaust,ron woods intake,and were runnin ultimate 4 gas in it.we are gonna put it on the bottle this week and go dyno tune it and see what we get.sorry,about not makin it out for the dune ride.i probably wouldnt have been able to keep up.i got beat by my friends 35rwhp 440 ex .

 

what was done to your buddys red ex?

 

I think it is a 416 with high comp piston, head work, carb, cam , pipe and rev box.

I thought you had a couple 470s that were suposed to be there? Or am I mistakin?

I guess its about time to do something with my bike , everybody is passin me by.

 

i had 2 guys tell me at 5 am friday that they werent goin.we only had the white yfz470 with the mexican flag and his brother the blue yfz with full bores.my buddy has 440 kit high comp,stage 1 cam,full exhaust.he is gettin a fdo 440 hit soon wih porting and stage 2 cams and fcr 39.he made 35rwhp the way he was out there.

 

Me too!! My shocks on my bike was not ready for that[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img] Plus my kids were with me and by the time we made half the ride they wanted to quit! I didnt blame them either, my clutch hand was soooo tired I didnt want to race either [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] Had fun though, glad to meet most of you.

Also, I didnt see King Raptor there? Did anyone race him? I heard he was there but never seen him or didnt know who he was. I had the all black and white, no sticker, cut front fenders and marvin shaw shocks Raptor. My pic of my bike is on my page.

All was fun though, I am dog tired now and just finally got rested up from the nice weekend of weather we had there[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

 

First of all it was a GREAT weekend at Pismo. I wish I could of made it on the morning dune ride but my buddy had some problems with his bike so we didn't get out to the beach till 10 or so. Got to talk to 250r4life for a little bit but never seen duneslider?!?!? My 470 ran flawless all weekend. On friday and most of saturday were spent trying to find the right gear combo for my 470. We finaly got it figured out saturday evening and Sunday and it was running very strong on sunday. Mad Racing did a great job on building me a fast 470 and geting it dialed in. On Sunday I beat all of the Spark's TRX's including the 580. An d was very close to thier CRF on alky in a 400ex frame which was a very good runing bike. I got the yellow Sparks Z400 a few times to. And when I could get a good launch I was a bike or so away from the sparks blue 727 with flames. I am 90% sure it was RaptorOwner that I raced on Sunday with the black/white raptor with marvin shaws? I was on the white yfz with a Mad Racing shirt on.

 

i may sell my motor.i need a core though.im gonna drop it off to bill and have him figure out the problem and get it fixed.we messed with the jettig and that did nothin.i had buddy(triple) help me a lil and he thinks i have a elecrical problem.i will have it all legit and be out at pismo in the next few weeks.i may buy a 10 mil t rex from bill.just waitin on some cash to come thru.

 

250r ,did you race a fat guy on a blue yfz with full bores at all?i cant remeber racin you but if you were out there im sure i did on the blue bike or my buddy on the white yfz with tucker +4 arm and mexican flag whip.
