I was at the lake using that floating thing I have in the garage. Ready for the dunes again but the Suzuki quit makin spark and I took it to the guru to see if its CDI or stator. How was the sand?

I was there Saturday until Monday, had a great time!!!. Camped near Sand Hills Resort...but certainly not in SHR.
Spent a lot of time on the sand, including Thunder and Choke Cherry. And yes I did see some beautiful and fast buggies out there.
I got a very close look at one, who obviously didn't see me. Why?, because he was too busy turning corners while looking straight ahead.
And, I saw another go up 50 yards to the right of Choke Cherry then make a sudden left turn and cross the path of a banshee going up the center of C.C., then zooming off like he was in the right the whole time.
Don't get me wrong, I believe that buggies have the same rights as anyone to the dunes. And I do love to see them rip up and down the hills with what looks like 100 feet of roost. But a few inconsiderate drivers have to realize that, being 2000 lb's heavier than most others out there, they are endangering others' lives.
On a final positive note, the rain and wind Sunday night made for some kickass smooth sand Monday morning. Some of the smaller bowls just north west of SHR with the sharp razors off of the top made for some great air.
Later.

Gentleman, I was there from Wed.-Mon. I was driving the red buggy (supercharged LS-1),.
If I cut any body off i apoligize to all. But you guys that ride those ricerockets should have at
least a half brain not to get to close to us. Rember we dont stop or turn as fast as the quads..' My worst fear is hitting some poor kid on a quad. And remember to always wear
a helmet and have a flag.
There was a terrible accident there on Saturday, The poor lady is still in the hospital,
Her husband and kids a re probally still crying. The only thing that saved her life
was her helmet
