Just wondering who's going to be going to Florence this weekend?

We will be staying at the Driftwood II campground. I have a blue and silver Dodge Cummins, a TRX450R, and a blue Warrior. Hopefully we can meet up with some of you!

Me and the wife will be riding at florence on sunday the 18th with a few friends. We are going to be spending quite a bit of time at our comp hill so i can do some runs with my new 690 raptor motor to try and tweak it just a bit to get more performance out of it.If you see a silver raptor with prm racks and eyeball headlight covers that will be me and the wife will be on a red 440 ex and we always like to meet other forum members so if you see us come on over and maybe we can make some runs up comp.

Where is Comp from the Driftwood II campground? I've only been to Florence once before, and I think I've been to comp hill, but not sure. Is that the really steep one about 3 miles north east of Driftwood? About 1/4 mile from that pond? Do you have GPS coordinates?

ryangibson-Comp hill is probably about three miles north from driftwood campground and east about 3/4 of a mile or so from the flats area.I do not have GPS coordinates but if you cant find comp hill just ask any local rider and they could point you in the right direction. Our comp hill is only a little over 300 feet long and it is pretty steep with a very short take off point so the start is very critical there but for a longer race we use the south jetty hill further north at florence.

Be there Friday Night and Saturday. Group of friends are staying at Driftwood. Going to sleep in my truck hopefully at their site. I'll be riding my green kfx with green, black jersey, gray and black helmet. Usually in the back of the pack.
