Default Paddles for 250R

Wondering what paddle tires to get. I have a fairly modified 250R, however, I only go duning 1 weekend per year. I'm looking for the best bang for my buck (ie. I don't need the lightest, most expensive paddles). I am also more interested in going fast in a straight line (as opposed to turning).

1. What brand do you recommend?
2. How many paddles on the tire?
3. What size (20's or 22's)?

Thanks in advance.

20 inch sand sharks or ITP sand stars. 7-8 paddle on a 10 inch rim, or 8 if u like to drag race more than not.

Best bang for the buck. 20" 8 paddle Sand Devils on an 8" wheels on .160 wheels from Rocky Mtn Atv is about 120 plus shipping.. Might even be less.. Find a wheel in their scratch and dent section and you could get them for less the a hundred bones..I live by RMATV and they will always treat you right..

what type of motor and chassis/swingarm setup are you running. None of the tires recommended do much for putting the power to the ground. What do you consider expensive?

I'm using Skat Trak Haulers 20-10 -8 with 8 paddles and they work very good in every sand area I ever been. I use them on all three quads and no problem.

Stock chassis and suspension. Motor piped, ported/polished, 38 mm carb, power-head. I only go to the dunes once per year, so I didn't want to necessarily drop a huge amount of coin on a set of tires for one weekend.

What do you recommend?

Sounds good. I'm crossing the border at Port Huron Friday AM. I haven't gotten paddles yet. I ordered a bunch of stuff from one of the guys at Magic - who lives in Port Huron. He's going to take it to his house and I'm going to swing by and pick it up on my way through. Thought I would do the same with the paddles.

I'd like to hook-up if we can. I'd be interested to see the performance of your 310R.
