me and a bunch of buddies were thinking of going to little sahara
but all i have is a polaris 325 trailboss.
will i be wasting my time?

 

its still fun with utility quads in the dunes. but dont expect to climb any big dunes

My wife had a trailboss for a while. It did suck at the dunes when trying to go up any hills. Then we swaped it for a trailblazer 250. Those suck just as bad at the dunes. But on a good note, if you stay clear of the bigger dunes you will have a blast running through the trails and just getting out and playing in the sand.

 

ive ridden my utility quad in the dunes and i can say this: they are plenty of fun for just cruising around but dont expect to climb big dunes or win any races. thankfully soon im gonna get a sport quad. bottom line is no matter what your riding, you cant not have fun at the dunes

 

i have a 02 yamaha 250f motorcycle and i think any quad is fun in the dunes im 15 and all theese quads below have been fun in the dunes

The only thing that actually sucks about the utes in the sand dunes is going down into what you call an oh sh__! Just don't go down a hill unless you know you can get out for sure. Been there done that

 

Guys ride utilities out at St.Anthony all the time. My wife ride our Prairie there and she has fun. Just keep in mind don't drop into any big bowls that don't have a short easy side out or you will be pushing and begging friend to help you get it out.

I went to the dunes today with my P360 2x4 and it went up "almost" everything I just had to keep it pinned the whole time.
