Which Raptor paddles?
#1
Yes I did search but I am now more confused than before on which paddles to get. 03 Raptor jetted, snorkel taken off, and thingie taken out of muffler. I just switched from sandrail to quad and I ride in Amargosa and Dumont. I like to dune mostly and ride side hills and might run comp once. I was using Trakkers and they suck, I would get stuck on flat ground and my friends yfz 450 smoked me up comp twice and he was running Geckos. Someone said the haulers and extremes are too much paddle for the Raptor, it would dig in too much and just do wheelies. I liked the one comment made about getting an 8" rim but I really need help here so I can order some. I was told to get ITP 190 but in Rocky Mtn it shows a TP9 and an upgrade to 190 so whats that all about? Thanks.

first you gotta figure out whether you want a strait or v paddle. straits will give you maximum hookup for drags and hillclimbs, but will not turn great and will not slide as good. v paddles will still give a lot of hookup, though not as much as straits, but they will turn good and silde good.

I have 3 raptors running haulers 20x10x10. When you order from rocky mtn, their 10inch wheel is wider if you use douglas wheels. That make the tire flatter you get better bite, but it will slide when you turn it. They have different thickness on their wheels. I would suggest at least .160's or if you jump alot go with .190.
