raptor owner that red and white with guy wearing a mad shirt wasn't thunder it was a guy named brad we ported and camed it stock bore curtis pipe. thunder has the blue stripe down the middle. he didnt show up until sunday

no he didnt get to.i clocked tony in the low 60's not bad for a big boy, now it seem everyone was running slower this weekend but my bike hits 68 mph once i get it back together i would like to run tony's i think it would be close. but keep in mind i'm 180 and i think tony is around 60lbs more he has a super fast bike

 

Darren, thanks for the vote of confidense, But that sparks 740 may mopp my ol- beat up ds.. That 740 Sounds fast, Also if you saw thunderally you would know it, hes fast, real fast. When are you comming to Dumont? Come on out and kick it, we have a smooth side of the long hill to run. From what I hear I have a target on my back since I couldnt make it to ds days, But I am ready for all commers at Dumont. I want to get mopped up so I can go into my motor and freshen her up along with getting her tranny overidden. Im going on 1 year with same rings.

I would love to, but my motor is coming out this week and getting more goodies put inside.... hehehehe, I may have a Piston, Jug and sparks cam for sale on ebay soon. I just got this setup a few months ago and am going to go BIGGER NOW. I am on a mission to at least hang with the top 3 4 strokes.... Maybe good enough for 4 Stroke wars if I can find me a real good pilot [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img], Just not that good on whoops yet to say that I will be piloting that monster.... Mario, For Sure this Winter when it starts to cool down, that place gets too hot for me during the Summer.

 

I'll say it was fast, I was the one standing at the end of the strip with the black radar gun that had the battery pack. I was out there most of the day and I believe I clocked that red & white sparks raptor in the low to mid 60mph range. I had to leave early beacause my daughters boyfriend rolled his jeep on a hill just west of the orange stand pipe. Everyone was ok they all went to the hospital to be checked out and everything was a/ok. And if that wasn't enough, we went out to comp hill Sunday night and he snaped his rear u joint on top of the hill. Not a good wkend for him![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img]

Yeah Thunder is fast, if not the fastest 470 out there saturday and sunday, when we raced, after i took some air out of my tires i had about a foot or less on him at the end. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img]

 

I seen that, didnt know if it was fatal or not but yes it didnt look good.

 

I had to leave early but about noon time I had my buddy race you a couple of times and first you got him and second he got you. Mine was the all black and white Raptor. 690 of course with mid range cam, 14.5:1 piston, geared real low for 1st gear take offs. Cant wait to see what that 730 will do on Race gas!!

Like Mad said, I dont think that was the 470 you raced because he was only there on Sunday.

 

Well I just got to go up there Sunday afternoon and monday. When I got there the flats were pretty messed up and not fun with the stock swinger still on. My bike was running ok i guess, damn Dyna CDI is what I think has been my problem and will soon be throwen off a cliff. Cant wait to get the +4 on there. Mark is geting a Dyno very soon so we should have my bike dialed in 100% within the next couple of weeks...
