Has anyone been to Silver Lake in the last few weeks? When we went on Labor Day, there was alot of standing water on the flats (where everyone drags), and on the beach. Kinda sucked, they had to move the drags to a different location..alot smaller area and shorter and had a slight down hill start on super soft sand..Just curious if any of that standing water is still there. We're going up the weekend of Oct. 15th..

 

i was there a month ago and there was a lot of water on the beach. im hoping to get one more trip in october, but probably not until next summer.

 

Yep, the main drag area is still flooded as of a week ago.

 

less than a week away..we're still going, but weather isn't looking too good..any new reports on the dune conditions?

 

There is a group of us heading up for the 22nd thru 24th. I believe we have around 12 people going so far from our club. Its going to be chilly, but worth it for the last ride of the year for me.
