Thanksgiving at Dumont.I had a great time at dumont,i was only there saturday but i stayed until night time about 10:00.i have an all black yfz450le.my quad ran awesome.the weather sucked but the hillshooting was fun.just wondering if any of you made it.i met the annihilater out there ,he is a cool guy.his quad was beating alot of fast stuff out there.if anyone got me on tape racing up comp,i would love to see it.i was wearing all black fleshgear on a black 450 thats pretty quick.if you did let me know.let me know if you guys saw me out there.it would be cool to actually know who im racing out there.this website is great for the atv community.im glad to have found it.

 

We were there all day Friday. Glad we left before the wind on Saturday, that had to suck bigtime. Friday was crazy on the hill. We opted to shoot the old comp hill on the left side, it was less crazy. There was some idiot there on Friday pulling wheelies in a four seat rail, going diagonally up the hill almost squashing quads on the way back down. The guy was drunk or high because a few guys finally convinced him he ought to disappear or face an a$$ whoopin'. Some people just dont get it. Save the drinking for the camp!! Anyway glad you had fun, c'ya on the hill.

 

WERE YOU THERE FOR SATURDAY MORNING BECAUSE I SAW AN ORANGE KFX ON NITROUS AT COMP.IS THERE 2,I ALSO SAW A TURBOED KFX.4 STROKES ARE HERE TO STAY AND THEY ARE GETTING VERY RESPECTABLE.MY YFZ CAN HANG WITH JUST ABOUT ANYTHING OUT THERE THAT I WOULD EXPECT IT TO.IM 220LBS TOO.

 

I was there Fri. thru Sun. and it sucked. Friday got there around 3 rode till dark. The wind on Sat. was anoying as hell. I also bottomed out coming down a dune in 5th and bent my RT lower A-arm all up. So figured it was beer time for the rest of the afternoon till a friend of mine's 12 year old son decided to take off on his own. We found him a couple hours later (6:30 and dark) thought my friend was going to kill him. At least the wind let up for a little while in the evening so we could have a good dinner, fire, and more beer time [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

Anyway, got up Sunday to see the wind reverseing it self and being bitter cold, plus the KFX would'nt start, so loaded up the fam and headed home about 9am. It might have been a better weekend but my kids were cold and board only getting to hang out in the trailers.

My V is green , but my buddies is currently orange (ordered lava red plastic), he has the big bore and nitrous mine is a stock bore now with nitrous. For a big fat school bus of a quad it will haul *** and hold its own on the hill though. The nitrous helps to make up for the weight. I would have liked to see the turbo'd V. Did it fly? I have been talking with Kelly at KMS Performance about turboing and fuel injecting mine. It's getting close to reality. Will make over 100 hp at the crank! Anyway, hey maybe we will run into you guys, do you ever make it out to Amargosa?

That sucks about your friends kid. Glad he was alright. I know I would have killed my daughter. She and her friends pull that crap all the time. "they have to go see the boys at comp!" then they get disoriented at night and always are late returning to camp, freaking my wife out. Now we dont let them go off on their own. Kids!!!!!!!

NEVER BEEN TO ARMAGOSA YET,BUT YEAH IT WAS A FAST KFX,ITS ORANGE,WITH ALL KINDS OF TUBING GOIN THRU IT.HE COULDNT REALLY TAKE OFF FAST BECAUSE HIS SWINGARM WAS TOO SHORT AND COULDNT HANDLE THE POWER.REALL INTERESTING LOOKING QUAD THOUGH.IM SURE HE WILL BE OUT AGAIN/.

 

i was there. Probably saw you too. I was on an all blue yfz. No front bumper and a nitrous bottle under the hood.

 

WHAT KIND OF NITROUS ARE YOU RUNNING AND WAS IT WORTH THE MONEY,I WAS JUST TALKING TO MY FRIEND ABOUT THAT 5 MINUTES BEFORE I READ THIS.IF I HOOK MINE UP WITH A SMALL SHOT WILL MY MOTOR LAST?THATS MY ONLY CONCERN.LMK

 

Well I was there wed-sat and I was the one that kept lining up with Supergurl (she was the one in a white YFZ with a backwards superman sing on her rear) and she kept whooping me, but hey what can I say, who wouldn't want a beat down from a hottie on a 450? peace!
