Thanks Madracing for your reply, sounds like you got a quad, we ended up buying a TRX90, got it for 2200.00. It goes preety good with me on it , & I'm 185 lbs.

Just one word of advice if you plan to ride the 90 in the sand: paddles. I'll say it again, paddles. My daughter has a Suzuki lt80 and with hauler paddles she can pretty much keep up with me. A cousin has her old lt50. His first dune trip was without paddles and he was very limited, could take only a few small hills. His second trip was made with paddles. He is now a proud competitor at comp hill (well, at least the first 20' or so). Paddles made all the difference.

My daughter has no problem with her haulers. I don't know if our cousin has haulers or V paddles. However, due to the limited power range of the smaller bikes, I'd go with the haulers to get more traction up the hill. With a bike that small I wouldnt' think steering is too much of an issue. I know that the little guy got real frustrated his first trip out when he couldn't make it up the hillls. Even with her haulers, my daughter was riding at the top of a couple of bowls at Dumont. (Mom was having the heart attack on the sidelines - but was none the less proud!)

My son rides an LT80 with the Skat-trak 6 paddle gliders and they do reall well. It really surprises me the hills it will climb.

I like the 2-strokes for sand because you can double the stock HP fairly easily. With a few mods, my daughter's 100 climbs any hill I want her on. But I would like paddles to make it a little easier for her to get going on an incline.

I bought a set of Gecko's (18x9x8) for my son's bone stock LT80. He goes everywhere we go with no problems. The Hauler's are also a good choice, but very pricey for a kid's quad. I only paid $30 a piece for the Gecko's.
