Can I run with no air box lid if I have a UNI pro flow kit and don;t run lean? I just found out i have one, and i don;'t run lean. Mayb I am already jetted? Can i take the lid off and ride, seeing that I have the pro flow kit and do not run lean? thx.

 

you could, but once you did you would go lean.. when you take off the lid it GREATLY increases airflow and you usually have to go up many sizes on the main jet. Your quad is probably jetted for the lid to be on since it is and its not lean. Just look around the site or ask in the yamaha section for jetting suggestions...

 

Pull the carb, open the float bowl and look at the slotted brass fitting in the center. It will have a number very finely engraved on it. Stock is 145. I run a 150 with a full FMF system and uni filter kit. I am pretty close to sea level. I started at 152.5 but that was too rich so this is really the best setting I could find
