I made up a back rack that a childs (Car seat) would strap in. Worked great, never had to worry about her falling out. Went out on day rides, look back, and she'ed be sleeping.

I don't care how careful or how good of a rider ya are, eventually everyone wrecks. Does it really make sense to strap a small child onto yourself or your atv? Flame suit on .

I would say that you would have to know me before you start making me out to be careless. I make sure I know where it is I'm going and I DON'T take chances with my childrens saftey! I have had an atv since 91, and I bore the people I ride with, I putt! Anyways, someone asked a question, and I answered. By strapping a child to yourself, you will not have the controll that you would have if you had fastened them in a childs car seat! I hope I have helped someone! Happy trails!

Absolutely the dumbest idea I ever heard! (It's not a real good idea to ride double anyway.) The kid will have less injuries fallin off, than ending up with a bike and/or dad on top of them. Anything can happen, no matter how carefull you are.

Me and the wife were talking about that this weekend since we only ride with my daughter sitting in front of the quad, and yes it is possible to ride with her and putt but seriousley if your doing 5th gear runs with your kids strapped in then that is not smart but if your putting around camp or the baby dunes and fall then you shouldent be on a bike in the first place....

Im training her to ride a quad and she is 1 and a half and follows me pretty goon on her kazsuma 50....yes she is 1 and a half and rides like the wind..

You guys are nutz! What are you thinkin strappin a kid on a ATV! SELL YOU ATV"S NOW, your not smart enough to own one.

And I am the one that says start em young, but I don't mean you have to stop and change there diaper on the trail!

Anything without a role cage needs NO safety harnesses. When I raced karts there was even no safety harnesses, your safer flying out!
