Anyone know the diameter of the standard flags they sell at Duneland up at Silver Lake? I want to buy one of those quick release flag holders from ODP and he offers 3/16", 1/4" or 5/16"..

I actually called Duneland up at Silver Lake and they said the flags are 1/2" diameter at the bottom and no one makes a quick release that large...that I know of. I guess out west at the "big dunes" they use alot smaller whimpy flags.

 

Don't bother with the 3/16 or 1/4" flags. You'll be lucky if they last a weekend. I picked up one of these last year and they are practically indestructible. http://www.clickwhip.com Well worth the money. I believe they are slightly larger than 5/16.
