Good dune question

Do you think that a yz125 that comes stock with 34hp and 13000rpms. Mods are a paddle tire pipe jet and air filter would make it up pretty much any hill in glamis. Keep the fact that i may have too much traction and dig in

a dirtbike.? Well a 250CC I know would but ..... I would not say any hill choke cherry, or 100$ hill in flag would probably be too much... But it would be cool too mess around in

It would be pretty close. It might and maybe it wont i cant tell ya i am a 250 and up person nevr rode anything under that But i think it would do quite well

It also depends on how heavy a person your are. My 6'2" 230 frame would not make it up choke on a 125 no matter what you do short of supercharge/nos but if you only weigh 120 there is a better chance.

A good rider on a modern 125 2-stroke MX bike will climb any hill that the quads can climb. The bike cannot be overtired for the conditions or it could get too much traction and bog.

you'll make it up almost anything depending on your weight, plan on putting a new top end in your bike often if your going to be running it like that, cuz your going to need to be winding that s.o.b. out to make it up the hills, cinders is out of the question.

see i will have this bike at, at least 40 hp and thats at very least and it will be properly tuned. And yes i do consider myself to be a good rider and don't have any cinders near me so that doesnt matter. and the bike will flow it wont be just mismatched parts all over placed randomely.

The dunes are an awfully harsh environment for a 125.
You'd be better off with a 250 if you are planning doing some serious hillclimbs at the dunes!!
I am not saying you won't make it, but you really run the risk of blowing that 125 motor with all the heat you are going to be generating, and little air getting to the radiator until you get up on top of the sand.
