Raptor Rear V paddles
Hello,
I have an alba 01 Raptor. currently running 20x10x10 hbaulers on douglas 190's.
Also skat-trak mohawks on 21x7x10. I have been using these haulers for a couple of
years now and they are from my Banshee. Now that I have a Raptor I would like a tire
that turns. I was considering the skat-trak edge, 20x10x10. I cannot spray and roost much on my haulers. Just hill climb and launch. Anyone have the skat-trak edges and if so how to they compare to the Sand skate II's.
Chuck-Raptorman.
Dual Lte's, jetted airbox lid off , 4k in mods.etc...

With the mods you have I'm surprised you can't break those straight haulers loose?
The Edge are definitely a better sand tire than the SS II's, and you will pay a little more. The SS II's are heavier, but do corner better, and they are very popular in the sand dunes.
The Edge are still very aggressive, throw more roost than SS II's, and tend to push you straight coming out of the corners. But since you are coming from haulers, you will probably like them and that is the way I would go if I were you, based on your signature block. JMO.
Stay out of the rocks and roots with the Edge or you may rip a paddle off. The walls are thin and will were out quicker than the SS II's.
Have you thought about the Sand Stars?

for one..... get those haulers off those red labels .190's, they are heavy, i don't problem sliding around in the sand with my haulers, you should have more than enough power, but if your going to get a set of v's get the edge's and put them on .125 if you dont do any jumping otherwise .160
