I saw this video somewhere on the web of a Quad with a CBR900 motor in it going up huge dune and I beleve it was the badest I have ever seen!

It was in the member's video area. Another guy built one and posted a vid (I hosted it and might still have it up) but it wasnt all that impressive IMO.

 

isn't stock a 38??? 42 seems like a big jump and it sure will suck the gas out of my 250 tank realllllyyy fast. i do understand how to build a 2stroke motor. ive been tweakin with them since i had my BlasTERD!!!!! haha I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO AIR COOL!!! but my focus now is to get it balanced and running. i will go from there......

a 42mm carb seems small for a 500cc single cylinder 2-stroke?

For reference my 500cc single cylinder 2-stroke runs a 56mm carb

 

Hey Beech! We just got back from Madras, Oregon where we made the land speed record OFFICIAL! Even though we had some really high runs and some not so high, we had to get two consecutive sustained quarter mile speed trap runs for an overall half mile average. I've been in the 130's b4, but we were stuck with having to accept a 124.18MPH sustained half mile for the new Guiness ATV World Land Speed Record. By the way, they had to pull the seat out of my a$$![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

Any chance on changing your mind for Dunefest????
