I was just curious on how everyone is going to spend there lovely Memorial weekend?
I am spending mine out at armagosa with my family and my buddy burt on his yfz450, hes going to give me some good runs on my ds. Hopefully there be a couple hand fulls of people out there, To run against to and roam around with.

 

WOW ARMAGOSA ARE YOU SURE ITS NOT GOING TO BE A LITTLE HOT HAVE JUST MOVED TO OREGON FROM LAS VEGAS MY SELF AND YES I BROKE MY BACK OUT AT ARMAGOSA SO I NO THE PLACE WELL. WE MOVED TO OREGON AND WERE ABOUT 20 MIN. FROM THE DUNES HERE. YOU RIDE OUT AT NELLIS DUNES I REALLY LIKED THAT PLACE BECAUSE IT WAS SO CLOSE AND THE SAND WAS FUN TO PUT AROUND ON. ALL MY QUADS ARE IN MY TOY HAULER NOW MY LITTLE ONE BROKE HIS WRIST ON THE MONKEY BARS AT SCHOOL SO WE WONT BE ON THE DUNES ANY TIME SOON... HAY JUST ONE THING IF NOTHING ELSE REMEMBER TO BE SAFE AND ALWAYS KEEP YOUR HEAD MOVEING AROUND... DO I SOUND LIKE YOUR DAD... TAKE CARE JIM.

 

i know armagosa like the back of my hand.........inside and out, ya you got to watch out for that east side very steep long ways down [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img] . My dad broke his back two years ago cliff diving his t9(totally crushed) but he recovered and u cant keep him off a motorcycle...hes got heart......ya i know its going to be hot, im plaining on wear my boots, pants, and gloves, helment, gloggles, and no shirt but a chestprotector....see if that keeps me cool, i also have a camal back....[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

 

Coos Bay at the KOA, group of 40 to 50 of us from the Olympia and Shelton WA area. Can't wait. Hope the weater holds.

 

No dunes. The low desert is to hot already. We are going for the high altitude. The Inyo/White Mountains, one range over from the Sierras on the east side of the Owens Valley. We will most likely have to deal with some snow however. Lots of old mines and technical type riding.

 

I might go to armagosa, but my main plan is to go to LS utah. It'll be my 1st time there. I'm checking out all the weather forcast for armagosa, dumont and LS. I'll be going to the coolest of the 3.
