anybody going that weekend? I will have my son with me, his 1st trip to the dunes. anybody else going? I don't want to putt around all day, he never goes out of 2nd gear, oh well better to safe than to crazy.

sorry about ur quad i know how it feels

 

Never been to Silver Lake but sounds like lots of you have. I'm wondering is there alot of BIG hills there or is it kinda wide open, I'm talking BIG like you need a built quad to get to the top BIG. The main reason I'm asking is I'm going to buy sand tires and want to know if I should go straight paddle (Hauler) or a V-Blade (Sand star). Thanks.

 

Nice hills, nothing real big, I'm sure you can find some pics on here, if not I will try to find you some. If you plan on drag racing much get the haulers, on the weekends lots of draging going on. If you want to just ride around the V paddles are fun, there are a lot of twisty trails between trees.

 

Thanks for the reply I'm ordering the sand stars. I see you're from Indiana we're going to Silver Lake for 2 days then down to the Badlands for 3. Never been to either one and can't wait to go. Anything I should know before going to either. One question do they sell flags at the Dunes or should I order one? Thanks again.
