does it get too busy out there for thanksgiving or is it more fun when its busy. never been there before and just wondered if i should try and go over thanksgiving or wait till a less busy time, thanks.

 

that really depends on your riding style........we go in feb/march......when there is very few people there. I like to go out and ride very hard.....and not worry about running into other people......so I like it when its not busy. Others, like to watch drag racing....and talk in the campsite.......and when its busy is the best time for that.


Thanksgiving will be pretty busy......

 

Anytime you go will be worth it. I like going on busy weekends a lot, because I dont have my own four wheeler yet, so I always have to ride with the guys. When it is busy the drag racing is a lot of fun to watch and also there is always people to ride with. On the flip side, it is nice when there is not a lot of people on the dunes. It is better for riding when it is slow. As soon as I buy my four wheeler I will be down there all the time.

 

We will have a group there on the 26 after Thanksgiving. Should be some nice riding weather

 

It was great weather when we were there....last day though it started getting colder...so it might be cold around thanksgiving...
