Default Glamis 12/27-1/1 family trip

Our family will be camping and riding at Glamis after Christmas. We are looking for other quaddin families that will be there. We like to have fun, but not get too crazy since the kids range from 6-14 y.o.

Who else is gonna be there?

Most folks I know like the washes, which are down the road on the east side. But, if you have a motorhome or something that needs to stay on more solid ground, it's the end of Gecko road. Might get a crowded after Christmas!

We have a 1 ton 4 by dually and toyhauler. When we go to the OR dunes, we just air down the pu and trailer and roll on out.

so, the washes off Gecko are good? I havent been since the mid 80s - fewer closures then.

Gawd, I can't wait to head down, its around 30 degrees right now.

Gecko is a paved road, down the west side. The washes are on the east side. There are trestles under the rail road tracks, and these will take you out to the campsites. They are numbered. I am at a loss to suggest which is the best one.

Lots of info here: http://www.glamisonline.org/

Oops! Well, I guess we'll wing it and hope for the best. We tend to have the most fun when we are prepared, but don't overplan.

4 more days til we head south

U all have fun now, and don't let Josh race any 400's! He tenses up way too much causing breakage of steering components!
Be SAFE and have a great time!
