Hey guys I'm new to the forums here and had a couple of questions. I've been out to Pismo once and loved it, I mainly like to ride trucks. I recently bought a 87 chevy blazer and I want to take it up for Presidents Day weekend. And I've never rode in the dunes with a truck, so all you out there that ride your trucks out in the dunes any tips etc.. would be very appreciated. Thanks.

When you get to the sand let your tires down to about 6 pounds.

 

If you want to be driving on your rim.
Pick your lines ahead of time. Keep up your momentum.

 

watch out for those drop offs they are nasty
