Hey I'm wondering if anybody is interested in a trip to one of the oregon dunes when the weather is a lil nicer? I havent been on here FOREVER!

I was just over at honeymon camground last Tues,wed, Thursday.Had a blast despite the rain.One thing is for sure the sand is really packed hard from all the rain.I think I am gonna wait a while(till the sand loosens up some) before I go back.

 

thats one of the big reasons why i said when the weather is nicer. Much more enhoyable when the sand is loose. and loose isnt always good though. LOL

Yep that was me. I met ya on Nov.20 I remember that date because that was the last time I rode dunes. LOL (because modding my 400ex/ ordering parts) hmmm... I'm getting a whole bunch of work done to my 400ex and I dont think it will be ready by then. Hey I was wondering if you would want to plan a trip for the march 25 weekend?? maybe we could get a couple camping spaces and ride that weekend? IDK about you but that sounds like it would be alot of fun. LMK if ya wanna plan something that weekend and I will get busy and maybe bring another person to ride with. BTW- these are the mods i'm doing to my 400ex..

4.Port/polish
Sparks X-6 pipe
5. Just some heavy duty clutch springs

Thats a little far out for me to commit to right now.
Remind me as the time gets closer, and I will have a better idea.
Either way, I will probably be staying at a motel as I don't have a camper or trailer, and I like to have a nice hot shower after riding, and before going the next day [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

k sounds good. I might just rent a house over there since I dont have a camper or trailer either to sleep in. I've done that before and it works out pretty good. I could always let ya sleep in the garage of the place. JK Does honeymoon not have showers? I've never been there. How about I pm ya or post here in a couple weeks and see whats goin on? I bet ya can tell that I wanna ride. hehe If i'm gonna plan this I need to know asap due to places booking-up.

Yes, honeymon has showers, be sure to get a spot in loop H ,it has direct doon access during "discovery season" -the winter and early spring months.I think its over at the end of march.Loop H is also the only one you can load and unload your atvs in.I don't know how stricktly the enforce this rule though. Just a heads up for you guys...
