Default Paddles on tires line-up..

I have the type of paddles that are straight across not angled.

My right and left paddle tires do not line up when mounted. If I break the bead and align them, will this make any difference in acceleration?

yes especially when you line them up. You will notice a softer ride for one, also when you drag race(if you do) when you launch hard you will notice that you wont jump from left to right on a hard launch.

You shouldnt have to break the bead if you just take your axle hub nut off and rotate it on the splines.

No, you don't need a special puller to remove the hubs. Just take the cotter pin out and take off the big nut and the hub should slide off.

With the paddles lined up, riding on hard surfaces become less of an issue as there is little side to side motion, the paddles are absorbed by the suspension. Offset paddles can really work over swingarm bearings if ridden slowly on hard surfaces.

I have noticed when ever I get my paddles mounted they are offset just as mentioned above, but I have never tried to realign them they always do it on there own!! Try running like 3lbs air in them for half a day or something and the should line up with each other unless you need more HP!! LOL

I'm running sandstars I bought from Rockymountain ATV. They claim it doesn't make a difference and won't align them unless you specifically request it. I had them re-align the ones for my Z when I bought a set for my Raptor. I like it much better aligned because at slow speeds and on firmer ground they really vibrated when they didn't line up.
