Was the guy Darin and his wife was her name Laura and thier son Colten? And were they from Yuma AZ. If it was we met them at Little Sahara UT. They are great people. And yes that Rail was awesome and scared the crap out of me. My kids and Husband loved it.

We will be in St. Anthony on the 7th-14th staying at Sandhills this is our yearly ride. Can't wait to go. If you will be there that time let us know.

So, we made it to St. Anthony and had a great time. The dunes were awsome. All of our neighbors at Sand hills were great people. The camp ground was nice and quiet at night. The owners made sure of that. If you made noise after ten he was there on the golf cart to shut you down. 2 fun, I wish we could have had a chance to ride together, but we had to be going just as you guys got there. At least we were able to talk and put faces with the the names, it was nice meeting you. I will let you know if we make it out to florence. Our other neighbors at the campground, Darin and his wife and son, thank you for the ride in your sand rail. You dont find rides like that at amusement parks. It is nice to know that there are people out there that all have the same great time that we had.
Yes, I agree! It was nice to finally put a face to the name! Wish you could've stayed another day. Perhaps next year we can hook up??

We had an awesome time there also! As always, we met some of the nicest people you could imagine! And guess who we wound up camping next to......??? MR DS 650 himself!!

He and all of his Canadian friends were great to hang out and ride with!! What a great bunch of people! Sorry you had to cut your trip short Kurt (Curt?).
How about that girl on the CR 230 dirtbike out there on the dunes!!!! WOW!!! She could ride that thing out there in the sand a heck of a lot better than I ever could!! My hat is definately off to her!!

Hope to hook up with you all again, especially if you decide to make it to the Oregon dunes!

Also, MR "pimpin" DS 650, (Scott), you were a real kick to ride with! It was great to meet you bro! Perhaps SOMEDAY I will come close to jumping 1/8 the distance on my YFZ that you are able to do on your DS!!!! WOW!!! This man is CRAZY!!!

Again, an absolutely AWESOME St. Anthony trip!!!

Well I don't know where to start except to say that I've already made plans for next year!!!

I had the best time at St Anthony's. I've never been on rides like that here in Oregon. These dunes are huge and these gigantic rollercoaster type bowls are just way too fun! You can transition from one bowl into the other all day long and ride as hard or as easy as you want to. I kept the rubber side down the whole week witch is quiet an accomplishment for me.

I've met some of the best people over there. I had such a great ride with MRDS650 and the gang from Canada. I also got to ride the 730 of MRDS650 up Thunder and was AWESOME. It pulls very hard!! Thanks MRDS650 (Kurt) and I hope that everything is okay (or as good as than can be) for you people back home. Tell the rest of the gang up there that I said thanks for the rides and I hope to see you in Oregon or St. Anthony's next year....Eh!!

2fun (Jeff), you and Scott were a kick to hang and ride with. Thanks for getting me out of my wifes hair.... ha ha! We're going to have to hook up and ride in Florence and/or Winchester Bay. Thanks for showing me around the dunes over there and the some little tricks on side hilling. You guy's were writing your names across Choke Cherry and Devils Dune. Amazing!! I will keep practicing. Your stock YFZ runs very strong with just the free cam, pipe and a filter.... I was very impressed as you pulled 3rd up Choke Cherry!!! BTW - I keep telling you that when I jumped the throttle was stuck!!

Awsome trip and the best place I've ever riden. The people I've met helped make it that way. Thanks to all.

Good Evening everybody

Thank You for the concern, Everything will be back to normal in a few more days. Having to cut the trip short was disapointing, but when work calls it has to be done - after all I would not be able to go on holidays or have any toys with out my job.

I had hoped to get a few more days of ridding in with you guys (2fun, Scott and Bajapimpn). The ride on Tuesady out to the end and back was one of the best rides I have ever been on. I love going threw the big bowls and carving all the way out to Choke.

The best part of the trip was seeing Bajapimpn get the respect from the guys ridding dirtbikes for pulling off the biggest jump I have ever seen on a quad. Who new a DS650 could fly like that. - Don't worry Scott we still won't tell you wife !!!

My New HPR730 motor ran great all week. Spent $70.00 at the dyno on Monday and found an extra 10HP by properly jetting. The back cut tranny gears were also great. You don't know what it is like to ride for 4 days and never miss a shift !!!

I did win a few races when I was there, But hats off to Scott(2fun) for putting up with all my talk before getting there. As you can guess he still beat me on his 450YFZ. I think I held my own against him, he always beat me but I was not back more then a bike lenght.

You have to admit the Yellow School Bus can move. But you did beat me 2fun. - You have no idea how much it hurts to say that Scott, but I said I would tell it like it was.

It was great to meet everybody and get to ride with you'all. (does that sound American enough for you).

Since I had to cut the holiday short I have started to plan the next adventure. Started planning it on the way home (17 hours of driving will do that).

We are planning to be in Oregon in August. I should be there by the 12th and will be staying until the 17th. It would be great to hook up with you guys for a few days. I can't wait to try some of those tree schuts you told me about.

Thanks for a great time

MRDS650

MRDS650 (Kurt), Good to hear that things will return to back to normal. Sorry that you had to cut your trip short but it was very understandable!! It also good that you and everyone else made it home safely. It's a long haul to get to St Anthony's but I understand why people do it now. It not like anyplace I've riden.

I hope that you do get down here to Oregon in August and ride. These tree shutes are a little hairy for my DS (with me as the jockey) as I don't have motor work done. Watching what the 730 can pull out of down there may cause a dent in the wallet faster than I'd planned though!! I hope that your whole crew is along with you. They are a great bunch of people and a kick to ride with.

-BAJAXPIMPN

P.S. The DS has wings.....Sometimes it just leaves a dent when it lands!

If you see us on the trail give us a waive or come with us we will be with a big group of people but if you look at our pictures you will know what to look for. It would be great to meet some of you.

I'm very new to this forum. This is my first post. So I'm sorry if it's in the wrong place. Anyway I'm looking to head up to SA form here in Utah for the first time in mid July. I've spent a lot of time at LS here in Utah but have been dieing to head up there. The thing that has been holding me back is not knowning where to camp up there. If any of you have been to LS in utah, I'm looking to camp somewhere like White sands. I've got a small camp trailer that I'd have to fit in site. Any info I can get would be great.
Thanks
