There is BLM campground near the lake as well and if I remember it about 10 bucks a night but has no showers or power.

Hey LOCALS,

How is the sand? When does the complete dunes open? Is it May 1st? We are planning a ride down the first weekend in May.

The dunes officialy open april 1st. We are headed out there the 19th through the 22nd. Hope to see some of you there.

The dunes are all open and are awesome top of choke is little wet and nasty but the rest is dry and good riding!!

There are no BLM restrictions. I thought full dunes did not open till May 1st. Just curious. Is the sand pretty hard in places? I like pulling my dirt tire on the hard stuff.

We will be at Sand Hills resort 7/9 through 7/13 (5 days of dune riding euphoria!!!![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img])

Anybody else going to be there that week??
