Default Going to Pismo and I have a question about rust...

What parts of the bike do I need to spray down with WD40? I spray it down the day before and the day after I get back and done washing it, right?

usually it's best to spray any parts you don't want sand to stick to. Spraying both sprockets and the chain and all front and rear joints are usually what's needed.

Thank you sir. So nothing on the motor...mostly suspension components, right?

I was ready to go out and buy a 5-gallon drum of WD40 to wash my bikes, trailer, and truck.

I just make sure I was my truck and trailer real god when I return I also keep them well waxed, the bikes get washed and the chains get a coat of Bellray chain lube to keep the rust away. I have no problems with rust and I go at least once a month
