But when you're out on the dunes in a DS650 Baja, the weight is barely noticeable, the suspension is perfect for the weight and mannerisms of the DS650, I think the Baja model was a way of Can-Am showing that they could take the heaviest sport quad and make it handle like one that is 100lbs lighter, and 20hp more powerful, I wonder if the Outlaw 525S will be able to make me a fan as quickly as the DS650 Baja did, oh and the Outlaw 525 IRS is obviously not built for the dunes, you find that out when you ride it

Well I own both and now have considerable seat time on both. My plan was to replace the DS with the Outlaw525. After much thought, I have decided to keep my DS as my duner and the Outlaw as my daily rider. The Outlaw 525 is an amazingly fast open desert ride and trail quad for all the mentioned reasons. It has better hook up on the dunes than all the straight axle quads I have ridden/owned and is faster than my DS650 (see mods) on comp hills due to traction and weight but not much. That being said, I enjoy the DS too much on the dunes to sell it. It is more stable in whoops, transitions and steep downhills. They are both awesome machines and it really depends on your riding style and ability.

Hey I agree with you all the way! And good name there, I share the same one.
I do have to chuckle a little about you're sig though. Poooolaris is definatly not the most reliable. I'm not trying to be rude, I just think that is a Bold statement about polaris comparing them to Can Am, Yamaha, Honda, Suzuki, Kawi, and KTM. The most reliable Poo yet is the KTM powered ones.
