I'm going riding at Dumont Dunes in a couple of weeks and I'm looking for a Texas State Flag for the whip and just a cheap whip to use while I'm there Any ideas?

Just FYI, you are supposed to have a red or orange flag on the flagpole, per the rules posted on duneguide.com. You should be able to mail order and get one from rockymountainatv.com in that time frame easily.

 

If you are driving out from wherever, you should easily be able to find one at any dealership you happen to pass by.....

I'm guessing you are going to be in Vegas, and thought you would just check out Dumont at the same time??????

 

Thanks for the info. Yea Im driving out to California. I bet I'll find a lot of places to ride on my way out there. I grew up in Orange County California. Been to Glamis Pismo and other places back when I was a kid. I wonder how the Wolverine is going to like the sand?

 

i dont want to call flags a joke ,its a very good idea ,its just kinda ironic that a flag from say SL cant be used because theres writing on it and conversely the flag from LS cant be used SL because its to small, and if at SL you have the poll that will bend to with in 8' of the sand ,that is if your in motion, thats not legal, that happens if ya have to much flag .
run one flag pole for safety and one for show

 

Just run both the orange triangular flag and the Texas flag.

I run two flags on all my quads....helps me spot them in a group!

 

This is a good place to get some nice flags. You can also design your own. And if you tell her you need them quickly she usually gets them out very fast. Devil Women Flags

 

I found one at Walmart One of those safety flags for bicycles. Flag and whip for 4.97. heck I'll only use it for a weekend. That should do the trick.
