Anyone see any really fast ds650s in the sand or on the drag strips? If so what were there setups?

As long as we're not talking turbo/NOS/alchool (don't know if it works on a 4 stroke), the recipe is always the same. more flow. K&N (with outerwear), big carb (since you don't want low end anymore) or 2 smaller carbs, good spark plug (NGK, Splitfire, NippoDenso, Champion), High compression piston, MORE AGRESSIVE camshaft(s) (<-really important...the first thing to do), bigger valves (especially intake), and freely flowing exhaust. If you have some engineer talent (rather knowledge) you can design you pipe and airbox in such a way that the shockwave acts like a turbo, increasing you pressure at the right moment up to 15%. If you're really specific, change gear ratios. If you really want to win, dump water in the dangerous competitors' tanks...eheh

No. The reason being is that "really fast" and "ds650" can't be used in the same sentence without laughter coming from anyone that ownes a Banshee...
|
A DS with a pipe will slightly beat a piped banshee in top-end speed on the flat. I know. I lost.

a ds650 with : High compression piston, 3 angle valve job, porting, cam's, carb, (maybe big bore), tires and ignition removed would sure smoke its share of banshees. I know those banshee's FLY when they are modded up, but give the ds some credit. ANd if your going to post something stupid to make pepole mad, dont even bother.
