My boyfriend wants to go dune riddin' when he get's his vacation time this summer. He's never went before and the only dune he know's about is glamas. We live in NY and we are kinda looking for some closer to us.I heard there is one in NC but I'm not sure. If you could tell me were some are that are close to us, I would greatly appreciate it. Silver Lake dunes in Michigan. Check out the trails section on the homepage. It should be about a 12-15 hour drive from new York...

 

Go to the home page and click on the "Dune Zone" You can then e-mail Mike Lyons for the closest Dunes. Not to much on the East coast..Silver Lake in Michigan is nice as is Little Sahara in Waynoka, Oklahoma. Hope you find something closer as I know you will enjoy the sand.
