Banshee Paddles
#1
I am getting ready to buy the Skat-Trak Edge's for my Banshee and wanted to get some advise from those who already have some. I am not sure how many paddles or what size of tire to buy for my fairly stock Banshee. Mods are fmf piped/jetted and modified air flow. Any recomendations would be greatly appreciated.

that dude with the 10 paddles has a lot of mods, you may want to go with 8 paddles. then think about what size rim you want. a taller (10" or 12") rim will give less sidewall flex, good for turning. a shorter rim (8" or 9") will let you run with less air pressure and make a smoother ride.
I would recomend skat trac haulers (with fronts) or edge (without fronts) 20/10/8 - 8 paddle.

Go with 10 paddle tires whatever you get; 8 is too little. I pulled 10 paddle Haulers when my Bnashee was stock. 20" tires are OK, but I would say go with 22" tires and a 13 tooth countersprocket. It's up to you whether you want straight or V paddles. Straight paddles will hook up better and V paddles turn better. I prefer straight paddles personally because turning is not a real issue in the sand; I want the hook-up although I don't think there is a big difference either way.
