Dumont, Glamis or Sand Mountain NV
#1
A friend and I are headed south the first part of January. We live by the Saint Anthony sand dunes. We are going to drive South on I 15 until it is warm. Any recommendations on where to go? We only want warmth, no wind and great riding!!!
Thanks

Glamis is great! And the 'gang bangers', or bad egg's only come out on large weekends like Thanksgiving and maybe New Years and they only hang out at the problem spots, like the sand drags and Comp hill at night.
If you have never been to Glamis check it out! And if your coming down I15 you should stop and check out Dumont for a day or two also.

Wyoduner/Wyorider and I are heading that way in mid March. We are gonna stop at Pink Coral also. We need it to warm up a little for Pink Coral, but not be to hot for Glamis and Dumont. Saint Anthonys in the summer and LS, Utah every weekend until I roast!!! Oh... and a few places in Vegas for some beverages.

Both Dumont and Glamis will bo cool at night. Currently it's in the 40's at night and 60's during the day. Bring warm clothes if you have a tent!Go to www.weather.com to check weather
For dumont enter the city of Baker, CA and Glamis enter Brawley,CA

If we just have two days to ride I assume the Dumont is closer to Vegas than Glamis? None of that tent stuff for me!!! Is Baker close enough to stay there?
